With having sets goals and wanting a positive outcome in life drives a person to put their all and strongest effort with their own personal craft. As a person once said, " Practice makes perfect" and if anyone ever thought that wasn't true, they must have not heard about Indianapolis-based producer, artist songwriter, engineer, and graphics editor Boochee "Tha Doe Boi" of Gotta Clown Entertainment, Doe Boi Productions and Get Cha Beat Game Up Beats. One of Indianapolis's most Unbelievable and Remarkable labels on the way to the top. Boochee "Tha Doe Boi", Gotta Clown Entertainment, Doe Boi Productions and Get Cha Beat Game Up Beats born Andre L. Boochee Jr. in Indianapolis, IN (aka Nap, Nap-town) where he was born and raised. Indianapolis is known for it's big events known as the Indiana Black Expo, Circle City Classic, Indy's 500 and Brickyard 400. " The music scene is big in Nap, we have a lot of talent." Boochee states. " But others think when it come down to music, Nap is not really the to place to get a shot at stardom. There is kind of a miscommunication with the radio and some what of the city not supporting their Local Artist." Boochee says. "Then on the other hand Nap is probably not the best place to try and score big with a music career, but if you network right and you're good at what you do, you can reach out to others and to the people that can help you at a shot at stardom." said Boochee. As Boochee grew older with his music and his talent got strong, his name and music start spreading thought his neighborhood, schools he attended and all sides of the town through the city. " I didn't know anything about music as in making beats and stuff." Boochee admits. Starting out with a karaoke machine and some instrumentals, Boochee began to record songs in his room. Shortly after the recorded songs begin circulating in his neighborhood, Boochee start making a name for himself." It was this one song I recorded at Raw Ent. Studios about money, cars, clothes and just that big life of of rapper so folks started calling me Boochee "Tha Doe Boi" and the name stuck; I recorded a song every day; it was my passion to do music from then on out." Boochee says. As luck hit down, Boochee forms a buzz for himself by producing his own songs and creating catchy hooks plus creative verses to follow. By then Boochee realized he really had a strong passion for constructing music. " I started producing all of my tracks on Fl Studio (aka Fruity Loops) and to this day I still do." With being confident Boochee Started passing out flyers for his beats and albums. " I remember I use to pass out cds with 3 full songs and 2 half songs just to get my talent heard" Boochee notes. " I was just trying to land my c.d. in the hands of some who would give me a chance to live up to goal with this music." Boochee says. So thats when Boochee "Tha Doe Boi" started performing at talents shows and other events. Loving to be on the stage and in the spot light Boochee " Tha Doe Boi" collaborated with an artist by the name of Yung Paso in 2006. The two artist came up with a song called I'm Fresh that later hit the Indianapolis music charts heavy and hard and then posted it on his official myspace page www.myspace.com/boocheethadoeboi " Man I remember when I use to be riding down the street and hearing a car come pass blasting my song singing along and everything; man that was a good feeling" Boochee Says. With this song in demand the two started performing the song at numerous of parties and under 21 clubs, then even opening up for major artist. Then soon following all of this the song landed on the radio. Then in 2008 Boochee "Tha Doe Boi" hit the music scene hard once again with the smashing single Lil Mama Bad produce by Boochee " Tha Doe Boi". So when Djs need to get a party started right they spin "I'm Fresh by Naps finest Boochee "Tha Doe Boi Ft. Yung Paso. Then if you want to get the ladies moving they drop "Lil Mama Bad" and many more hit songs. "Everybody is always looking to see what I'm going to do next. Everything I do is for the fans" he states. But the Next thing I'm trying to do is get a record deal with a major record label and even owning my own label and producing all my music and even launching a couple artist." Boochee fits in. Seems like this musician is going a long way. So lets just sit back and watch.
