BOONIE One of the 'throwedest' unsigned artist out now, Boonie delivers hard on every song with astounishing punchlines, yet can still touch your heart in pain filled songs such as 'Stressing' Though he is barely 19, he has dropped a mixtape entitled 'Main Event Round 1' when he was in the 10th grade The mixtape showed his metaphor talent and displayed his lyrical talent alsoHe created a buzz around his city of Foley,AL Everyone eventually knew what Boonie was best at As many would say 'You cant deny the kid has talent' Boonie waited a full two years before dropping his first official album entitled 'Gametime' Going through many problems when finding production for this album and promoters he took matters into his own handWhen told that he would not sell he laughed at all his haters He begin to make his own beats since he couldn't find what he was looking for His beats would best be described as bass filled and catchy His lyrics best described as unbelieveable Delivering hard hitting metaphors such as 'Mirror shaking like Barry Sanders i cant even see myself call the law for child abuse when they heard my trunk had beating 12s' on the bass booming 'Let Yo Trunk Beat' then displaying lyrical talent on 'Dont go there with me' which has a speed up sample of Lil Wayne's 'Go Dj' he takes it to the street on 'You My Nigga Right' which is a friend questioning battle amongst his peers, stating 'Real niggs is hard to get to cuz half these niggas out here faker than artificials' it features local artis Shank He ends the cd out with the fans heart on his life explaining song 'Stressin' 'That was proly the saddest song i ever wrote beforei had alot to get off my chest that night so i just let the pen talk for me' Boonie stated The song talks about money troubles, choosing a life of drugs, family problems and much more that most can vibe to 'I just wanted it ('Gametime') to start off making niggas make one of them oh my god faces thats why i opened it with so many metaphors Then i wanted to ease into stunting a lil then talk about them hoes then talk about the respectable ladiesI dont talk about shit i dont do or i dont got so you aint gone hear me claiming to be riding 24s and all that shitNigga if i dont do it or wont do it i dont write itI think Gametime was one of the hardest albums you gone hear from an unsigned rapperI dont follow movements and shit like that you knowLike i was working on Gametime while the whole lil snap movement was popping but you aint gone hear that shit from meIm something different Gametime was a masterpieceI think it should be put in a frame and hung on a wall or something(Laughing) And to think they told me i wouldn't sell shit' Boonie's first official album 'Gametime' sold over three hundred and fifty copiesAt ten dollars a pop!
