Borderline Eleven

Dear friends and fans,

Well, it's official.  The band is dormant for an undetermined length of time, as our drummer has moved on to other pursuits and the guys needed a break after being together since the start of high school in 2005.  So live gigging has stopped at least for 2012 and 2013.  We will be continuing to build the fan base in the interim .  The band will have a fresh, new musical direction and at least one new member when things pick up again. 

We thank you for your loyal support of our music and hope that you will continue to help spread the word about Borderline Eleven to your friends everywhere.  Our profile here on OurStage will cease to be active, but if you want to keep abreast of band news as it happens, please join our main band mailing list at www.reverbnation.com/borderlineeleven -- we will keep that one going.  If you join our friends list here you will not receive any communications from the band as this profile will be inactive as of February, 2012.

BORDERLINE ELEVEN'S Debut CD "Read Between The Lines" released nationally on January 4, 2011!

BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a group of teen guys, ages 20-25, from New Hampshire who started jamming in a basement for something fun to do in their spare time back in November, 2005.

Wanting to listen to good pop punk music with positive messages and clean lyrics, they set out to create their own. After mastering some cover songs to be sure they could even play well together, they tried their hand at songwriting. A monthly open mic night was available at their church, so they showed up at every one to test out their music. The response was very positive and encouraged them to keep going.

In the winter of 2007, they won their annual high school Battle as a sophomore band (a first) and then a local Battle in town. These events energized them into serious gigging. Word of mouth spread and by the end of 2007, they had 30 performances under their belts.

Their demo tracks were turned into an EP at the request of their growing fan base, and "Pacific Wasteland" was released in the autumn of 2006. Their first full-length CD, Read Between The Lines, will release nationally on January 4, 2011

BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a band with a heart for their generation and a desire to positively influence their world. In March 2008, they repeated as school champs (again a first) and opened for ELEVENTYSEVEN and THE FOLD at Summer Kickoff on May 30, 2008 in Manchester, NH. In August, they participated in SoulFest, a gig won right here on OurStage.com. October 19, 2008 held a Manchester, NH performance with Gotee Records recording artist JOHN REUBEN at The Black Brimmer. June of 2009 brought an opening gig for THE CLASSIC CRIME in NH, and May 2010 held an appearance with EVERYDAY SUNDAY
