Bragg "AKA" SHA started his musical journey at a very young age when his parents purchased musical instruments for him and his siblings, Sha being middle in line of five, 3 brothers and one sister began to show immediate aptitude for playing stringed instruments,learning the top ten radio hits of the time on the Bass and Guitar, and all by ear.By the time he hit his early teens hip hop /graffiti/and breakdanceing was emerging on the streets of new york and Queens was a hotbed for this new art form. Sha hooked up with his cousin Jerrold Williams R.I.P Who was then a founding member of Local Queens rap group Master Plan, and started developing his skills on the microphone, and dance floor, winning many local battles an creating a name for himself locally.By the time he was seventeen he started meeting and jamming with other neighborhood musicians and met then neighborhood icon and guitarist David Drew who introduced him to several different guitar styles. Sha Being exposed to several different gene of music , His Father Being an Avid Jazz Lover some of his favorites being , Miles Davis, West Montgomery , etc ,while Mom loved most of the popular Female vocalist like Nina Simone , Roberta Flack , and of course the Legendary Aretha Franklin and at the same time being influenced by his older brother Keith's love for the early 70's rock, funk, jazz groups.These early experiences of music he believes has influenced his style of production to this day and can be heard clearly in his productions.Driving Bass Lines , Funky Horns , Strings that call for attention, along with sometimes haunting melody's, and of course live Guitars and Basses .His musical experience and credits run deeply into the fabric of hip hop and has worked with several artist over the past 20 years in the capacity of writing and production also artist development , two of which have gone on to sign Major Recording Contracts . With one independently release in 2000 Which was sponsored by Mars Music, a music retail company based in the southeast, with moderate independent $ucess he saw the opportunity to create his company, Braggadoshish Entertainment a music and media company and now after ten long years of hard work and the pursuit of musical perfection, HA no such thing , basically living in the studio, Sha has mastered several modern recording technics and multiple daw programs like fl studio , reasons, storm,cubase,pro-tools etc... and is now ready to unleash a multi facet barrage of Hot Music To the World.With artist like B Double O ,, The Panther Black Project,and of course J-EYE our primere artist.
