On September 26, 1989 the world was blessed with the birth of Stacey Lynn Wilson. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was raised by her mother and father, Sharon and Tyrone Wilson in a house with three other siblings. Stacey always loved music so at the age of 9 she began rapping. With so little equipment she began rapping to music and recording it on her cassette player. She kept this up for years until she finally realized that she could record on her home computer and burn cd’s to distribute them. She was then given the name Breezie by her sister Nina because her flow was thought to be so “cold.” At the age 13 she performed a rap for her 8th graduation ceremony where she received a card from a “so called” producer who turned out to be any help at all. But Stacey didn’t stop there she kept recording music on her computer and if there was a talent show at school she would rap in it. And when people would see her outside they would ask her to rap telling her that she had a lot of potential, which made her work even harder. She began making beats on her computer and even bout some from her friend Rick. When she was in the 11th grade she took a Video Production class where she showcased her talent and received positive feedback from the class as well the teacher. This made Stacey even more motivated to do what she loved the most, which was rap. Even though she didn’t have any stardom or wasn’t getting paid, she didn’t mind because rap was her passion. She enjoyed the class so much she decided to take Video Production 2 her senior year and in the class she was able to make her own music video of her rapping and it was played for almost anybody who came into the class. This made Stacey feel real good but she didn’t stop there either. With high hopes she kept writing raps and rapping for anybody who asked just to get some kind of exposure. With her new hit single “Rubberband featuring Luc Sells hopes to finally gain the exposure she deserves in order to make her dreams come true. Her influences are Lil Wayne, T.I., Eminem, Tupac, Juelz Santana, etc. “They posses swaggers that cant be matched and are lyrical beast.” Stacey a*k*a Breezie states a few reasons why they influence her. Hoping to soon be able to do what they’ve done which is make a difference in hip hop.
