Brent White

From being voted "Best New Artist" in 05 of the Local 83 Listeners Union, to winning Battle of the Band competitions, tv & radio play, all the way to gigs at Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta, these feats seem to come easy for Brent White. He started singing and songwriting in 2004 while attending college in Kentucky. His friends and classmates encouraged him to start playing out more and promoting his talent. From being voted "Best New Artist" in 05 of the Local 83 Listeners Union, to winning Battle of the Band competitions, tv & radio play, all the way to gigs at Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta, these feats seem to come easy for Brent White. He started singing and songwriting in 2004 while attending college in Kentucky. His friends and classmates encouraged him to start playing out more and promoting his talent. He took their advice and the opportunities just seemed to come along! From regular weekly gigs almost every night of the week from town to town, this built regular crowds as well as a growing fan base. While performing, "his stage presence and performance is so good that it just naturally draws you in, leaving you wanting more!". Since moving to Nashville in February of 2007, Brent has been accepted by the Nashville Sports Council to play at the Country Music Marathon in downtown Nashville, and invited as a featured player at local writer’s nights and radio shows. Brent has since been recording and playing music behind the scenes with various bands. He has also recently had songs become part of the regular rotation on several college radio stations including University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee, and Vanderbilt University. After a short break, he is revved up and ready to go!
