Biography Bridges Of Light became a band when Jason Moon started reading and writing about consciousness. Like Buddha sitting under the Tree Of Life (yes, Jason has one of those - but it's called the Consciousness Tree), he contemplated his musical future and saw that it would happen in circles. He rounded up 3 of his actor friends (all four had recently done Shakespearean theatre together in various shows) and started the first circle - the band. They spent their first five months together recording an album called "Live For What's Beautiful" and expanding the series of circles to include family, friends, and anyone who cared to drop by. Handing out tambourines and acoustic guitars and even a trumpet and a didgeridoo, they jammed and recorded and put together an album of great rock songs. Now the first circle of five - Jason, Ian, Trent, Kurt, and Lee - created a live stage show that rocked all on it's own, but with spaces where guests and friends would always be able to jump in and add to the extravaganza! Today the band sees it's task as expanding the circles. The atmosphere at the shows is fun and positive, and people are drawn in to the circle by many things: catchy rock riffs, ethereal bluesy jams, AND lyrics that tease consciousness out into the light where everyone can play with it!
