Akin John aka Brozie B. is one of the most prominent singer/songwriter/rapper/producers in the music industry to date. Previously in a group named Raw Boy Entertainment created by himself and Michael aka Yung True a rapper/songwriter/idealist; the group name deriving from their definition of their talent level as “Raw” meaning “uncut” and “highly exuberant” times have forwarded permitting Brozie B to embark on a solo career. Born and raised on the north side of Houston, TX throughout various neighborhoods, Brozie never thought that he would have grown to helplessly fall into the clutches of the world of music. Prior to the beginning of his musical interest he attained many athletic aspirations such as becoming the Randall Cunningham of football, the Usain Bolt of track, the Kobe Bryant of basketball, and even the Wayne Gretzky of hockey as well, leaving music as the last thought in his mind. One historical day one of Brozie’s cousins from New Jersey came to stay with his family in Houston for about a month. His cousin would refer to Akin as Lil Brozie, meaning “little brother” which later evolved over time into omitting the “lil” as he grew older, therefore making his alternate identity “Brozie B” with the “B” initially standing for “Beats” seeing that he predominately used to be a producer. His cousin, at an early age, acquired the skills of playing the piano and drums at an exceptionally impressive level. He ignited that fire in young, 13 year old Brozie then allowing him to reveal his hidden passion for music. Ever since that day, Brozie B and music became inseparable. From learning to play multiple instruments such as the guitar, piano, drums, and other various instruments, Brozie familiarized himself with music formally and his passion for music only grew. Brozie B, a multiple threat, unstoppable, and unique has done it all from performing his music at a vast number of locations across Houston to appearing on live internet radio web casts; mass promoting on multiple music showcase websites, such as MySpace, ReverbNation, Youtube, Ustream, etc; and even passing out CDs of his compilations of work amongst mass congregations of people on the streets in order to create a buzz, and grow his fan base. Now with his dramatically increasing attributes in production, lyrical ability, execution, and teaming up with one of the hottest producers in the game, Richie Rich, he is more than highly confident in his music… masterpieces if you will, that they will inexorably spring to the top of the billboard charts!
