Brandon began singing at the age of seven in Honolulu, Hawaii, Imitating popular Artist such as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and Brian McKnight. At that age Brandon developed skills and found love in his new passion. In High School Brandon was awarded every year for his entertaining performances, he also won the school’s first talent show entitled “Miami Central’s Apollo” In which he was given a standing ovation on a emotional rendition of popular 90s hit “If I ever fall in love” by Shai.
A bright future was ahead for the young R&B sensation however, it seemed dim because in 2004 Brandon’s sophomore year of high school his father Sean Romario Gee was murdered execution style on his way home from work. He was devastated from his father’s passing, but it was only the beginning of a string of deaths another would come just months later this would take the biggest toll on Brandon! In 2005 he lost the pride and joy of his life, his grandmother, to cancer and shortly after his grandfather died of a heart attack in 2006. Pain was an understatement when describing Brandon’s feelings.
Now the emotionally damaged teen found himself lost in a lonely world and turned to his one true love The Art of Music! He performed in various clubs and schools in Miami, but his performances at café soul, a lounge in the Liberty City part of Miami, earned him some spotlight. He became the feature on Friday nights singing his self written song reality. He soon discovered that singing wasn’t the only talent he posses, song writing, and dancing soon added flavor to help build his extraordinary performances. The most notable was his Halloween performance of the club banging hit “Get Down” at FAMUs Chapter of House Arrest 2 Championship Dance Team’s show spook and jook! He also performed the hit in Atlanta in front of Big Sam of the East Side Boyz. He said he could hear it on the radio and people jamming to it. His Rendition of Silk’s Meeting in My Bedroom on youtube made him become an internet star.
In 2010 His biggest hit named “She’s Leaving” earned him many fans not only because it’s relevant and extremely emotional, but his high energy performances from opening for Crystal Waters to performing at Atlanta’s Apache Café every second Sunday showcased the singers softer side. In Conclusion the definition of B. Suave is the new all around trend setting guy from his music to his image. B. Suave proves that hard work and dedication despite drastic setbacks will prove reward.
