Already having supported bands like Sucioperro on a two gig stint, and New Cassettes to a sold out roadmender crowd after only a short time of being together Buick are gaining a popularity and a buzz wherever they go.. things look exciting in the Buick camp, adding to this to is them embarking on theyre first single with record producer Phil English (worked with Biffy Clyro, Feeder, Athlete, to name but a few...). due for release in April, with backing from Vision PR... Until then they'll be hitting the gig circuit all over the country full on with an array of energy, jagged riffs, melodic upliftment, and deep lyrics.
With influences as vast as Slipknot and Oceansize to Huey Lewis and The Beach Boys, the boys sound isnt exactly going to be the norm is it... so they're sounds hard to describe as it's so versitile, but if you had to put your finger on it somewhere between, Biffy Clyro, We Are Scientists and Death From Above 1979 would have to be close...?
Buick have big plans for 2009 with the single release in April...
but the main thing is, they'll be doing it with a smile.
