Not very long ago, the music industry was in need of a fresh start. In result, a small city called Jackson gave the world four amazing moguls. No one in their family knew the “flame” they possessed. Even they admitted to being unaware of their greatness. Growing up in three different lifestyles is what made them such a “perfect disaster” to the world of entertainment! Cousin, King 5ifty(19) linked up with half-brothers, Lil Jai(17) & Krank Deezle(18) to form the fantastic, jaw-dropping three-man rap talent called the Burn-Out Boiz. The Burn-Out Boiz are starting to receive the credit their family deserves but each had interesting incidents that sparked their hopes of becoming future stars. Years ago King 5ifty, born ToRon Wilson, got his first spark of inspiration when he came home from school and seen a Lil Bow Wow video on BET. Rajodd Watkins, better known as Krank Deezle, admits he transferred his love from basketball into music because self-expression came natural to him. And Jared Walters, better known as Lil Jai the singer and rapper, has had his heart and eye on music since he was five years old, back when he was doing Michael Jackson dance routines around the Christmas Tree! Mississippi is responsible for producing only a few mega stars, such as Oprah, David Banner, and Soulja Boy Tell’em. Realizing that their state was basically invisible in the music industry, they took it upon themselves to make their city a very huge market in Hip-Hop! Causing them to collide their unique musical styles together to create club-banging masterpieces such as “Rocket Power”(prod. By DJ GB) & neighborhood anthems like “We Do Daaat”(prod. by Kongo). Around the time when “Crank Music” had grown to be such a huge fad in music, the Burn-Out Boiz cleverly cooked up their first self-titled hit “Burn Out”. It’s response was remarkable! People had never heard nothing like it before. “It was suppose to be like a dance record or something, but the beat bangin’ so hard that the public accepted it as a fight song!”, surprisingly states King 5ifty. The attention caused the group to create close relationships with some of rap’s most loved teenage artists, such as J-Real(Fresh Walk), F.L.Y(Swag Surfin’), and the New Boyz(You’re A Jerk) just to name a few. “Even though the dancing is fun and it’s really what sparked our flames, we don’t wanna be categorized as dancers. We more so wanna be known as four poets who are on a mission to be heard and understood for being musically true to ourselves at all times!”, says the Burn-Out Boiz. And making a name for themselves is exactly what the four young men are doing. Everyone who loves music will soon have their attention on these great beings. So music world, open your eyes and ears because the future of Hip-Hop is here!
