Born in Providence R.I, Raised in the "Hartford Projects" VOZ grew up with lots of stories to tell through his form of art. Influenced by a state where there is a thin line between love, hate and temptation. Inspired by the poetry around him VOZ began to write around the age of 15. Open mics around the city became first nature to this young Poet in the making. VOZ began to express himself through his writing at about the age of 17; Poetry slams became his obsession. During the end of his teens VOZ was approached with an interesting thought conveyed peers. With his unique writing structure and tone of voice; music became his calling. Never stopping his poetry, VOZ began to write songs, and although he had no flow he continued to find his inner voice. The belief in him by his peers motivated him to improve, be more creative, and express his unique gift. During his early 20's he began a project entitled “(Uni)Verse," an (EP) he produced himself along with Co-Producer AWOL. VOZ is now working on a darker, more abstract sound for his upcoming (LP) “Land of the Lost.” Now being the flagship artist of the elite Mayhem Muzik; VOZ, and partner in crime AWOL, will introduce you to the future of music and sound. “Mayhem is the army, are you ready for the war??!”
