Cappolla King grew up in Long Island New York. Her family mostly being from Queens & Brooklyn moved to the Island before she was born where her parents met as teenagers living on the same block. Her Parents had her at the young age of just 18 years old. Before she turned 5 and started kindergarden her parents Divorced and began the war. Growing up an only child in the middle of cross fire from her two parents battling it out for two decades and moving around every year, she being a extremely creative girl who grew up around all different music from 50's DooWoop and R&B soul, to sixties classic rock to 80's pop, new wave & Hip Hop... she began to used her passion and influences to get through the harder times in creative ways by writing down her own lyrics and art. It wasn't until High School that she started to take her craft seriously. She noticed how witty she could be in her rhymes and that intwined with her "incredible remarkable" flow she started to seek the right ppl to record her first songs with. After 04' and graduation she left to go to Music School in Greenwich Village NYC. She Later got an internship and job working for Bad Boys Recording studio as an Assistant Engineer and Studio Assistant. She lent her voice and assistant skills to Jay-Z's American Gangster getting her ,her 1st offical Engineer Credit. She Learned a tremendous amount about the industry the three years she spent there. She met Two phenomenal writers at the studio who asked her to work with them as their artist. She decided she needed a Artist name that not only ment something to her but didnt just sound like a "rapper" name , a name that to her sounded like longevity. She Combined her two grandmothers madien names Cappolla Being her fathers mother 100% italian and KING her mothers, who she was living with when she passed away her senior year of high school at the age of 59, she was 100% Irish. She is now developing her own sound and working on her first Album as well as releasing a 3 disc Mix-tape Collection of recordings of her 1st recordings and mix tape to current recordings all showing the evolution consistency and variety of Genres she can paint a piece of herself on.
