And the reason why we have chosen to do the same is because our intention as musicians is not to say or play something you've never heard before. Our intention is to say what has already been said, and to play what has already been played, but in a different way than you have ever heard it before. We believe that the ultimate goal of music is to move the soul of man - to carry him into the familiar depths of that sea and let him linger there until he ponders what it all means. If our song, "One Defining Spark," can accomplish that for our listeners, then we will consider ourselves successful as musicians.
