I like playing all types of musical instruments because if you know how to play them, you know how they are supposed to sound in the song: it's great for arranging songs because you can hear for yourself how each instrument sounds in the song by playing them. I actually understand Prince a lot more since i started playing all the instruments. I have written over 50 songs - I like them all, some are better than others, of course - but they are all a part of who i am and who i was at the time i wrote them.
