Street culture, T.I., Young Jeezy, Cash Money and his favorite artist Trick Daddy influenced Mr. Casanova when he was a teenager, supported by his older brother Homicide; he joined forces with childhood friends to form a group Black Jack Boyz. The Black Jack Boyz, a huge commodity in Tampa, Fl helped Casanova become the lyricist that he is today. However, like most new artists, lack of knowledge on the industry and bad management caused the group to split up. Later falling victim to the streets landed Casanova in prison, where he began to take the rap game even more serious.
"It's nothing else to do in Prison, so I wrote and wrote more, sometimes I'd be in the hole for 23 hours a day, so I got to work," reminisces Casanova. When released, he made the decision, that rap would always be first in his life. "I used to put hustling first, and rapping second, once you go to prison, you think differently, who wants to go back. Before prison, I never thought I could be a solo artist, but then I started to believe in myself and in my skill and now I'm ready."
Ready he is and the world is ready for him, having worked with artists Lil' Boosie and Mike Jones, he can easily see himself as a star in his own right. A man who loves attention, Casanova says he can't wait for the fans, "I would love to walk in to the mall and get mobbed, I love attention," says Casanova. Attention is sure to come, because Mr. Casanova has an irrefutable star quality that fans and ladies of course will be unable to resist. His ideal woman is the lovely and talented Keyshia Cole, "I love Keyshia, she's just a real chick and there's nothing better than that." No matter what is being supplied, Casanova has managed to intertwine words that are so versatile and stimulating, and throughout Florida Mr. Casanova is creating nothing short of a movement. Aside from the music, the lyrics, and the eagerness of Casanova it is his winning attitude that makes all the difference in how fans will grow to love him. Casanova hopes to catapult his Non-Profit agency "Think outside the Hood", for the children of the world stuck in poverty and who are underserved. Just like his idol Trick Daddy, Casanova loves the kids as well. "It's so sad, although I have no kids, I really have a soft-spot for kids, and so many kids are just stuck in the hood, they don't see way out and I want to help them find a way," he reflects.
