Once the E.P was released, their talent was quickly recognised by Matt Seymour, from More Raw, BBC Radio York's unsigned music show. Since then, Cavalier have been rehearsing their live show, performing locally in the North East, and preparing for an explosive debut on the London music scene in January 2009. Cavalier write powerful, beautiful and inspirational songs. Think infectious melodies, soaring guitar riffs, tinkling pianos and an outstanding rhythm section. The band come from various backgrounds ranging from classical to jazz and have individually performed and recorded worldwide with top bands, choirs and orchestras. They draw influences from a wide-range, including Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Keane, Counting Crows, Matchbox Twenty, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, The Fray, One Republic.
