Cedii B, born Cedric Ariel Bouemboue on August 19, 1989 was born in Congo, Africa before moving to Queens, NY at the age of six. He engaged in playing soccer at the youth level and developed a passion for music, hip hop in particular, teaching himself how to make beats. At the age of 14 after moving to Brooklyn, NY he found himself creating his own rhymes and telling stories through his poetry, although the thought of being an artist never came to mind. He found his passion varied amongst music of all genres. After graduating high school Cedii then went on to college for a year where he showcased his skills by freestyling for friends and recording his music for the first time. He took some time off, forming a hip hop group known as New S'kool which included artists Prince B. and H.A.C.K. The group released a mixtape titled "Neuniversity - Open house for open minds" in 2010. Although very good firends the crew could not get they're music where it needed to be due to the lack of togetherness. Cedii decided to go another route. Realizing his lyrical capabilities, he found that Hip Hop was a way and knew what he wanted to do. Producing and writing his own music in 2011 Cedii released a solo mixtape by the name of "Good vibes" in which He caught the eyes of a small music management company in Brooklyn (str8 2 da bank). With lyrics that illustrate his observations and experiences in his own unique way, only time can tell how far Cedii will go.
