As we take a trip through the life, mind, and creative processes of the artist Ceno, you will see how his unique personality and style has unfolded throughout the years. Growing up wasn’t as easy as most would like, living in project homes was a day to day battle; especially being the only white family in the neighborhood. Raised by a single parent, his mother, along with his two older brothers, a close nit family bond was formed, which was a major key in overcoming many of the trials and tribulations he would face throughout his life. When Ceno was a young boy the fire that burned inside of him was strongly apparent, he was raised to be only himself, and not to let anyone run him down. If anyone did, he was taught to handle the situation as needed. Ceno being young, bold, and full of pride and frustration for disrespect, fighting became a daily routine when older bullies would try to pick on him. It was soon clear that fear and giving up wasn’t an option, and it was then that the hunger started. He was 10 years old when music started to sound different, the lyrics and rhythms seemed to form pictures in his mind in which he turned into deep and visual poems. From this he watched his older brother rap with his crew and at first Ceno just listened, but one night with his palms sweaty, heart racing, and nerves of jell-o, he stepped up to the microphone, spitting poetry from his soul. From this Ceno found the passion in which his craze, fire and hunger deserved - from that instant there was no stopping him. Music became an addiction, an infatuation and most of all a love that could never be replaced. Ceno has put out several freestyle CDs through high school and three mix tapes with an old crew. He won a 97.9 The Box freestyle contest in high school, performed for many talent show and other school functions. Ceno has gained a reputation for his abilities and is always willing to spit a rhyme on a dime.
