Cequo Let's Go, also known as Da Comeback Kidd was born Cornelius Sangster II, to Roceathia Williams and Cornelius Sangster on february 20, 1992 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was rooted in st paul, mn but eventually moved to mpls where his music career began to flourish. His musical genius stems from a long line of musical artists starting with his Grandfather, Gerald Smith, The Motor City Meat Dog" and the families band Purple Silk Club Band. Purple Silk Club Band or P.S.C.B toured the city of detroit playing in backyards and clubs alike and quickly became a household name. The band dismantled in 1986 when his grandfather, Gerald was slain. Roceathia began her music endeavors at the age of eight when she began writing and performing with the family band and continues today spreading her beautiful voice. Cornelius Sr. Is a well known producer in the twincities area. So we can conclude that Cornelius has gotten musical talents honestly. He writes, produces and has performed his own songs. Cequo has performed at "The Freedom Train Event" which was hosted by Bruce Henry, a well-known international performer. Has also performed at the Capri theater, and at other well-known venues such as The garage and Bar Fly with his entourage, One Life. When asked what his favorite song was he responded "Worthy it" when asked why, he says "It's real... people can relate". While "Worth It" has not been recorded yet, he promises that this single will definitely get the crowd up and on their feet, just like his singles, "Check my fifty-nine fifty", "Step Your Game Up" and my personal favorite, "Wowzers"! This young man started out just like any other kid wanting be a rapper...in his basement in a makeshift sound booth. He is a self-taught when it comes producing beats. Simply put, he is a master of his craft. He has wide range when it comes style. His moto is "I Am Not A Rapper" which he says mean he's an "...artist on the mic and with a pen an pad". He's a poet and songwriter. He is whiz when it comes to computer technology, also self-taught. Growing up in the twins cities he has helped his mother rear his two younger sisters Qkashyra and Kenyadiah, who are also up and coming artist who written and recorded their own songs. If fact Cornelius has been featured on their song 4"Better Girl" which they performed at the Capri Theater. He Works hard to take care of his 6 month old son, CJ.
