Gentle Giants

I was raised on a ranch. That gave me a strong work ethic and the resolve to stand behind myself, and that shows through my music. Not only do I constantly work to keep covers fresh, my original sound only keeps growing into something more and more exciting. I'm bringing the SONG back. With a background in music that goes beyond a mom with a thing from classic rock radio, I'm a fourth generation professional musician. My grandfather is Gerald Carey (Gene Watson, Will Barnes, DAC, others) and my grandmother is Yvonne Carey (Will Barnes, Willie Nelson). My uncle Phil Carey is an accomplished bass player as well. I've been writing songs since long before i played an instrument. I've sang in front of crowds since I was able to hold the mic. Performing is what I love, and it shows in every aspect of my music. My covers range from classic country (Bob Wills, Haggard, Willie) to Red Dirt (Cross, Randy, Bleu) to rock (Mike Doughty, CCR, Petty). The original music I write doesn't really have a genre, I write a lot of different kinds of songs. you'll see, i promise.
