Straight out of Pittsburg, CA but born and raised in Vallejo, CA, Chariz can simply be defined as artist of the year, however, his talent is anything but simple. Prepare yourself for a sound that has been unheard of, unimaginable, and untouchable. Chariz has been rapping, singing, and producing music since he was 11 years old. His first musical projects started off with the rap group known as "Groundbasics" and he eventually evolved into the musical mastermind he is today. If the term “Musical Genius” had a picture next to it, Chariz’s face would be right there beside it. For all of you non-believers, feel free to review his track record. Chariz, the artist, has been featured on quite a few projects including his own debut solo album “King of The Jungle” released nationwide through City Hall Records in 2007, and his follow up promotional album "Married to the Game with Children", released June 2008. He has also released a "streets only" album entitled "DOPE Volume 1” on April 20, 2009. He has appeared on Choze’s “The Epitome”, Drayno’s “The Laundromat”, Re’s “The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth”, Arsenal’s “Student of King Freako”, Groundbasics’ “05 Minutes”, Topkat’s “All Day Every Day”, Semaj’s “Willie’s Boy”, HK's "A Hustla's Religion", Mac Reeyo's "How I'm Livin’", Go Bigg's "All In", Kennedy's "Curse of Power", and many, many more. Chariz, the producer, has accomplished a wide range of projects. He has completed production work for artists such as, San Quinn, Rydah J. Klyde (of the Mob Figaz), Dubb20 (of the Ghetto Starz), and The Jacka (of the Mob Figaz), just to name a few. Chariz recently signed a record deal with the upcoming record label Go Bigg Music Group with hopes of taking it to the next level. He just released his first project with Go Bigg Music Group entitled “The Resurrection”, AVAILABLE NOW, self produced with additional production work by 6fingers (of Groundbasics) and Rythym X (of Sikwidit Records). Don’t blink ladies and gentlemen, because this album is sure to raise the bar for high quality music containing ridiculous, flamboyant beats and remarkable lyrical content. Chariz certainly brings Hip-Hop back to life and “resurrects” the real. His future is undoubtedly limitless. He recently released a mixed tape in February 2010 called "Checkmate". He is currently completing a collaborative album with SMG’s Mike Dash E entitled "The Funeral" (release date to be announced), and his next solo masterpiece "It's Curtains", scheduled for release in the summer of 2010. With an undeniable passion for music and an ear to produce what is unheard, Chariz has many strategic plans, and is definite to make it to the top.
