I am Tequoia L. Keitt (Ta- coya Kit) but would prefer to be called by my ministry name “Chosen”. I grew up in Orangeburg, SC on a big farm. Have been abandoned, abused, etc. Sold drugs to make capitol when I was 12, because my family was struggling with finances, no excuse for my actions but my want to provide for my family fueled me to find the calling that God put on my life. In high school is when I became born again and I found my complete calling, I started battle rapping to make money for food, even though I had never rapped before God helped me win and that’s where I polished this craft. Because drugs were illegal so legally I beat people with no curse words or no any extra help save God. But before I get to much into my testimony I introduce myself as an artist. I am 22 years old, with a beautiful wife of about 8 months and our first children (twin girls) are on the way in July (delivery date). I am a singer, rapper, graphic artist, guitarist, and producer. My production work consists of every song in the attached EP along with this letter. I produced every instrumental, mixed and recorded the tracks. I hope you excuse the quality of the mix, I try my hardest but I pray one day to master this craft along with the other gifts God has graced me with.
