Chris Burke is a soulful pop artist from Nashville, TN. He grew up singing classic soul music, everything from Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Etta James, and more. Ever since his move to Nashville in 2005, he has been songwriting and soaking in all of the magic and music of the city. His first album, self-titled 'Chris Burke,' was released in 2007. After honing his craft of songwriting and performing at various venues across Nashville, he began producing and writing by and for himself. This last year, Chris has written, produced, performed, engineered, and recorded the best, most personal music of his life, and is releasing his album 'Everything' in the year 2010. It is a mix of pop and soul music with some dance and club beats as well as acoustic piano driven ballads : the perfect variety to show off what Chris has to offer.
