About Christine Marie
Spring Valley, CA
Christine Marie is a country-rock artist who hails from Southern California. Influenced by Garth Brooks and LeAnn Rimes while growing up, she is determined to make a major impact on the country music world. Planning to move to Nashville in less than a year to pursue music while continuing her education in college, Christine dedicates herself wholeheartedly to her passion. She is a singer, songwriter, and musician - playing both the guitar and piano, with hopes of learning to play the banjo in the near future.
CM released her debut self-titled, three-song EP in the winter of 2009 at a Release Concert and sells the album on iTunes and on her official website. This EP will be discontinued soon, however, to make way for the release of her forthcoming six-song EP (including the first three tracks remastered) that has yet to be titled. Release of this new record is set for winter of 2010. All of CM's music was recorded at Studio 515 in Nashville, TN. Vocals and extra guitar tracks were recorded and mastered at AA&E in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
Christine finds inspiration in her favorite artist, Keith Urban, along with many other aspects of life in the south. Though she was raised on the coast, she has a deep connection to southern hospitality and has learned from her country heroes how to have a good ol' country time.
CM's biggest goal is to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. She is an active member of the Nashville Songwriters' Association Internation, BMI Music Group, and ReverbNation. Be sure to check out the website ( http://www.christinemariesings.com
