Founded in 1999, Ciao Bella has been a staple in the DFW music scene ever since, playing clubs, bars, and events as varied as their musical sound. Talented and accomplished musicians Bella Estrada (lead vocals/guitar), Darla Whisenant (bass), Izzy Hernandez (guitar), Julian Vera (keyboards/vocals) lend their musical styles to a range of genres, including classic rock, pop, country, and Latin. Since the band formed, they have received a number of accolades, such as gaining #1 local band for two years in the Dallas Voice, recognized by the Observer, and were runner-up for the John Lennon song writing contest for their original composition “Tell Me.” They have been a mainstay in Dallas/Fort Worth, in addition to playing throughout Texas, Hawaii, and touring Germany for the past seven years. Always trying to please their fans, Ciao Bella continues to write and record new music, proving that they will be around for many years to come.
