It was founded by Edward Lee Cano, aka R.I.P. aka Elbo. In 1998 but we didn't get serious till May of 2003. What started as 2 brothers making music, K.P. decided to put R.I.P aka Elbo in the studio and see what would happen.Then in time we added KANE 1 to the mix. Then we started freestyling on popular beats and made a CD called The CALLABO. It was hot. People really liked it. Real G's would pass by in their rides bumping that shit loud. At this time, shit was off the chain. This took place in South Oak Cliff. The CALLABO CD would be given to people for free of charge so that we could get recognition. Elbo would walk to the corner store and hand out the CD's. He had heart. KANE1 put a stack of CD's in another store called Hi-Ho in South Oak Cliff. K.P. would drive to car washes and hand them out. Shit was poppin and going smooth. But something terrible was about to happen.
On July 24, 2003, Elbo passed away in a car accident. Aaron and Elbo were at a red light at the intersection of Loop 12 & 35 South. When the light turned green, they were struck by a car that was racing with a truck. Elbo did not make it; Aaron was in ICU for several months, the first month fighting for his life. The driver fled, but 2 weeks later was captured by Dallas P.D. and is now serving a prison term. The studio came to a stop. Nobody expected this. Elbo's CD was almost complete when he lost his life. His CD will still drop in the future. K.P. and T.C. along with KANE 1 and all tha Cliffside Family and friends will always represent for that nigga!!! Elbo....................................
