Enjoying a little Kansas sunshine....where the buffalo roam
I have had a passion for music since the early 80’s when I purchased my first drum kit in Wichita, Kansas. After months and years of tedious practice I decided to take it to the next level. As a teenager I discovered I had a singing voice and decided to pick up the acoustic guitar and begin to write music., In 1995 after spending most of my life in Kansas, it was time to see what else was out there. That took me to Seattle, WA. At the age of 18 I was a student at The Art Institute of Seattle where I continued to explore musical possibilities with a few live shows including one TV show appearance. Seattle was a great experience but there was a school in Winter Park, Florida called Full Sail that was worth the really long road trip. I spent three years in the Orlando area putting in a lot of time in coffee shops, brushing up on my skills performing at open mic nights and club shows as a guitarist and behind the drums. Since then I have traveled overseas to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica and South America, doing cruise ship performances and playing for audiences of all kinds. Over the years I've been unable to ignore my passion for music so I'm happy to say that I'm about to complete my first solo original independent record titled THIS IS ME Available late Aug. 2008
