Growing up in a small town, like many other kids, P.J. "Lil" Lacy (L-Capo) & Leon Rand (Sleep), have experienced hard times. Recognizing that they were on to something special. The group quickly began to pursue their passion for music. The C.L.I.P.A.S. have already traveled far and wide to get here. Running down the list of setbacks endured and sacrifices the group have made, everything from poverty to bein student-athletes dropping out of college to drug convictions. You have to wonder just what keeps the quartet going. Then you hear the songs, and it all makes sense. In 2004 they got the chance to open up for Trillville. At the time, Trillvillle had the 1 single in the country “Get On My Level”. The C.L.I.P.A.S. have performed at numerous party events, clubs, strip clubs, venues, car shows, and parks since then. Coming from a poverty struck area, these young men understood at an early age what hard work meant. Making the most of not many but few opportunities, the group's name is traveling fast. Currently working on new mixtapes, the C.L.I.P.A.S. are preparing for a world takeover. They have recorded over 300 songs with tons of radio singles yet to be heard. The C.L.I.P.A.S. have distributed ova 30,000 mixtapes & counting from Italy to Maine. With "HDTV" burning up the streets, the group solitifies themselves as "leaders of the new school".
