Tiny T. grew up in a single parent home on Charlotte's seedy West side District. Raised mostly by her Uncle Kenneth Ray, Tiny T. was an only child who would hang out with her five cousins. Since she was usually the only girl, Tiny had to be really tough -- learning early how to hold her own and fight for what she believed in. Tiny's uncle helped fuel her love for music. "My uncle Kenneth made me fall in a love with hip hop and with music in general." At the age of nine,Tiny's uncle ultimately passed away, and she was left with a void in her heart. Tiny took all the things that her uncle taught her and used them to pursue her dreams.
