Cary, North Carolina native and UNC-Charlotte alumn Cole Roe is beginning to make a lot of noise in the triangle area. After making the decision to focus on his music full-time, the sky is the limit for this young man. Cole Roe's beautiful, and unique voice and touching lyrics are sure to have you hooked from the start. Cole recently began working on his sophomore album which can be expected in 2012, and will continue to play live shows all over North Carolina. As a young child, Cole has always dreamed of being a superstar singer. A real life "rock star." Cole began to get older and even though he had continued to get better and at the young age of 17 he began singing live. Sadly, the older and better he got, the more Cole started to think that his dream of being a professional recording artist was impossible. Throughout his four years of college at UNC-Charlotte he continued to play at bars and anywhere else that would let him set-up and sing to patrons. After graduating and moving back to his hometown of Cary, North Carolina, he followed in the path that the world tells everyone with a degree to take. The dreaded nine to five entry level job. Although he had continued to play and write music, Cole's dream was fading fast and his contageous smile was fading along with it. "I was miserable and couldn't stop thinking about how much I would regret not giving it a true shot", said Cole. Eventually, Cole gave in to the voice in the back of his head that was telling him to go for it. The next day he quit his day job and decided that music was his passion and it is what he was meant to do. The support from his family was abundant and it was at that point Cole started to believe again. Cole is off to the races and working hard non-stop to become the musician that he knows he can be. Now playing live shows all over the Triangle area, (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and everywhere in between) his confidence is only growing by the day. Currently working on his second album and first 100% studio recorded album it is evident that we can expect great things from him in the near future. Cole Roe may have been dreaming as a young boy practicing in his bedroom and singing along with his idols, but he knew where his path would lead. Soon enough the world will see Cole's path as well, and they to will realize that Cole Roe was meant to make music, and that dreams really do come true.
