Colitis – A group of 5 young musicians who play rock music influenced by many different aspects of the genre – from classic rock dating back to the 60s all the way to modern day progressive and alternative they create a unique style mixing in personal influences such as jazz and blues as well. The band was established back in 2000 but went through various personnel changes before stabilizing in to the group they are today consisting of musicians who don't just play music together but are close friends as well. The group recently finished work on their debut studio album titled "Bein sidkey Hakir"(amidst the cracks in the wall) which tells the personal story of the lead singer and songwriter Dudi Sarusi starting in a flashback of his life which begins at the point of his fathers death and continues on to a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs throughout his life - his introduction to music, the tragic murder of his niece in a terrorist act, finding his friends and the on going searches for answers to the many questions life poses against us. The group is currently working on material for another album while at the same time are in the process of getting the first album out to record stores in Israel and are in negotiations with several major labels.
