ComicbookHero was formed in the summer of 2005, with orginal memebrs Chris and Rob. After the band established its ideas and direction they recruited their first drummer Jay. ComicbookHero was formed in the summer of 2005, with orginal memebrs Chris and Rob. After the band established its ideas and direction they recruited their first drummer Jay. During that time they came up with catchy riffs and melodies. Struggling for a bassist resulted in a few months of searching untill they were eventually joined by Tom their first bass player. With the original line up now in place they would write and rehearse material with Rob on gutiar and vocals, Chris on guitar, Tom on bass and Jay on drums. In march of 2006 they recored their first E.P entitled Honestly Time Is Running Out, which had 4 Tracks. After recording they started to book gigs and played with other quality acts such as, 62 Pennies, Enter Shakri, St Chathries, Three Years Hiding and Forever Ends Today. After the end of the summer 2006 Tom chose to leave the band. ComicbookHero took this as an opportunity to work on new material for a new E.P, Looking to take a diffrent approach to how they wrote the songs. Months went by in search of a new member, which put stress on the band and by the begining of 2007 Jay decided to leave the band to pursue other opportunitys. It was felt that this was the end of ComicBookHero. Chris and Rob decided to start a new band, taking time to write new and different material coming up with fresh melodies and trying new ideas, After months of writing Rich, their current drummer made the two into three and brought even more new ideas and input in the songs. With intensions now of recruiting a bassists that could help with vocals Rich drafted in his brother Dan, who pushed the band harmonically, melodically and vocally forcing changes into the overall sound and perception of the new ComickbookHero. After a few more months with the current line up they recorded their second E.P entitled Eskimo Words For Snow.
