Conquer The Kings

Oklahoma City, OK

Biography

Conquer The Kings formed in early 2007 with a few kids that wanted to make a different style of music in the Oklahoma City hardcore scene. We got together and started jamming soon after we had all of our members. Within around 3 months, we had our first set list, and we were ready to play shows. Conquer The Kings formed in early 2007 with a few kids that wanted to make a different style of music in the Oklahoma City hardcore scene. We got together and started jamming soon after we had all of our members. Within around 3 months, we had our first set list, and we were ready to play shows. The Factory, a local venue, let us play our first show infront of 350 people at a show called 405 Fest, which was a fest with all of the best local bands to Oklahoma. We were on the rise from there. The day after our first show, we hit the studio and recorded our single The Awkward One and posted it on our myspace page. Soon after we did that, we were averaging at 50-70 hits on our new single every day. Soon after that we got the offers to play more local shows, to get us started, so we quickly accepted. After playing around 15 shows, we were asked if we would like to open up for a band called Emmure on Victory Records, we quickly said yes, as that is one of our main influences. We pre-sold over 50 tickets to that show, and got to play right before the headlining band, Emmure. Since then, we have been added to more shows with big bands, such as Kingston Falls, Impending Doom, Bury Your Dead, Emmure, A Plea For Purging, Recon, Liferuiner, Winds Of Plague, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Dance Club Massacre, For Today, Thick As Blood, Mychildren Mybride, The Warriors, For The Fallen Dreams, and many many more. We then hit the studio for the second time, and recorded our first 5 song, Untitled E.P. Once we posted 2 songs on our myspace, they became local hits. Averaging plays of up to 100-140 a day, we were growing at a fast speed. Now, at the beginning of 2008, we focus our eyes ahead of us, at oppertunities outside of Oklahoma.
