He has been writing and recording since 2001. Recently, ConSept has ventured into Engineering and Product Design/Graphic Artwork for him and his groups music. ConSept's influences music wise growing up were Tribe Called Quest, Bone Thugs~n~Harmony, Nas, Black Thought, Mobb Deep, Outkast, Michael Jackson, and Clipse.
