As funny as that may sound, the funnier thing is that he would follow the soulful and pop sounds of the elements with the quiet tunes of James Taylor and Joni Mitchell......and still try and dance to it the same way. While scared from the sight of my middle aged father trying to act younger than me, it taught me that regardless of the genre, music can move you to act out. It can send chills down your spine, anger into your heart, and make you walk a bit differently down the street, or make you dance in a horribly unique fashion. My passion for music comes from the simple fact that it can actually affect people and I try to do that every time I write and perform. From my parental forcing of Earth Wind and Fire and James Taylor, to my own discovery of the passionate Pop Punk and Emo scenes, the desire to create something personal yet relatable is what I strive to do. I've opened for Hellogoodbye, Bleeding Through, Mates of State, and Aqueduct to name a few. There is nothing like a good live show, and I try and make every set the best it can be.
