Cortez Martin has tremendous energy that is reflected through his work in the studio and stage presence. Starting in 2003, Cortez Martin has performed in over 100 venues including the Majestic Theatre (Detroit, MI), Cobo Hall (Detroit, MI), Hart Plaza (Detroit, MI), Millennium Center (Southfield, MI). He has also had the opportunity to work with some of Detroit’s Hip Hop producers such as Black Bethoven, Kyronic Music, and Matthew Hughes. Cortez Martin first single released under Big Tez, was entitled “Lost In You” featuring Lovesong which aired on Cover Me Radio, an Internet radio station based out of St. Louis, Missouri. “Lost In You” went into rotation receiving an average of 4 spins a day consistently for about one month. For the year 2010, Cortez Martin is preparing for the release of his as well as working towards expanding his fan base by utilizing web services and the possibilities of a Promotion Tour.
