Cory Taylor Cox started opening hardcore and metal shows in the Tupelo, MS scene all alone with his acoustic guitar, soon he expanded his territory to memphis, tn more of MS, AL, & TN and after several tours fell in love with traveling and playing shows for new people always winning over the hearts of the crowd and bringing a good time. CTC has opened for Wavlory (Flicker Records), The Devil Wears Prada (Rise/Ferret Records), Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra (Favorite Gentlemen), Drew Danburry,, Once Nothing (Solid State), I Am Terrified (Mono v. Stereo), The New Frontiers (Militia Group), Timbre, State Bird (The Record Machine), Hundred Year Storm (Floodgate/Doll House), Cool Hand Luke (Lujo), and many many other wonderful acts. "Not Just A Dirty Rumor" is CTC's self-produced, first full band, full length, shrink wrap, bar-code, and everything legit album. It was recorded with the help of great musicians in the legendary Alabama Shoals. CTC currently resides in the growing entertainment community of Oxford, Mississippi where he has acquired a new brotherhood of musicians to back him up and perform as his loud, dirty rock and roll band.
