The project began with a few acoustic songs back in 2004 and soon transitioned to a full “electric” line-up. The original band consisted of Shannon Antos- Guitar and Vox, Ben Canida- Drums, and Cody Goodman- Bass. Our Current line-up is Shannon Antos- Guitar and Vox, Andy Dana- Drums, and Davy Attwood- Bass. We have always been a “do-it-yourself” independent band since the beginning and we are still going strong today. C.O.T.C strives to be a unique and diverse group of musicians that journey through the light and shade of music. Our sound is as diverse as the Colorado landscape, and can range from light acoustic pieces to heavy thunderous jams. In order to tell an epic tale there must tension, release, body and climax. We are original…learning from our influences, rather than simply becoming them. Congress of the Crow, in its original Kama Sutra form, is a symbol of harmony, balance and strength. We believe that everything in the universe has a balance that must be maintained in order to live harmoniously, or to create honest substantial music. The magic of C.O.T.C. stems from the players themselves. We play from the heart and paint a dynamic landscape in sound.
