Being farm raised, his songs can't help but have a little dirt on them. The songs are from an average Joe, working person's perspective. He often uses humor to broach diverse topics. He writes memorable, hooky melodies. Every song has a story or message to offer. His lyrics easily transport the listener through strong visual imagery. Lyrics and melody are backed by strong rhythm,and superbly crafted guitar driven arrangements.
Craig always has one foot in the heart of country music and one in blue collar rock.
