CS Rush is a local pop band consisting of two twenty-one-old Hispanic females out of North Bergen, New Jersey. CS Rush is a local pop band consisting of two twenty-one-old Hispanic females out of North Bergen, New Jersey. The aspiring musicians—Cindy Moya and Stephanie Rollins—attributes their band name to the adrenaline and emotion they put into their music. Their sound is comparable to Alicia Keys and Rihanna, with strong emotional lyrics and a solid dance beat. Upon meeting in grammar school, the ambitious artists quickly gravitated to one another as they recognized their comparable skill and passion for making music. Their perpetual devotion and dedication for music kept them practicing and trying new things, eventually leading to them working with a record producer by the age of seventeen. For several months the duo recorded music and performed at local venues within New York and Virginia, but their strong run faced a temporary halt as the record company closed down. Rather than becoming complacent and allowing the brief lapse in their music career to get them down, the band stayed diligent in their music writing and continued to move forward in pursuit of their dream. Since, they have opened up for several bands—including Day 26, Slim, Ryan Leslie and Donnie K—to name a few. What continues to motivate CS Rush to persist within the industry is their love for music and their desire to share their sound with music lovers around the world.
