Biography

Formed in Ayr, Scotland in October 2008, Cursive Hearts are a 4 piece grunge/experimental band. Originally a two piece, with Canadian Dan and Douchebag Fraser getting together to jam out songs Dan had written years before, they decided that after hearing Bayne sing, they had to get him involved. All that was missing was a solid bottom end, so they decided to recruit Nic on bass. After one month of hard practice, the band played their first gig at 'West of the Moon' in Ayr. Opening the night, they played a five song set which was described as 'enthralling', 'refreshing', 'unique', 'orgasmic', and 'better than expected'. They are currently in the studio almost every day either writing or recording, as well as trying to book as many gigs as possible. With 15 songs already written, and with a new song almost every week, their original plan to self record and release an album has been scrapped as they felt they couldn't yet narrow down a tracklist. For bookings please contact: Cursivehearts@hotmail.co.uk they are willing to play any gig anywhere. Praise for Cursive Hearts: "These guys have come on leaps and bounds...Stirring up a violent moshpit , they concluded with a deceptively melodic tune that burst into life and left the audience in awe ..."
