AVA B .......... aka Antione Belt GASSA LEAN ........... aka Antonio Belt PYRO ........... aka Jamerrick Brown FLAME ............ aka Theo Brown My niggaz make up the powerhouse Hip-Hop group Da Arsonist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ring the bell bitchez, Hailing from the small city of Buford Ga just 30 mins from Atlanta, WE,,, This Northside Gwinnett County quartet first were introduced to each other at the very young age of nine. "We aint just a music group, we more like brothers" says Pyro. Having family members who live in Dekalb & Fulton county gave us weekends and summers to adapt to the city life. We hit the spots back in the day remembering Club NV, Megaplex, Golden Glide, etc. It was [on and poppin'!] You could find us in the place to be bout 20 deep always. The city exposure enabled us to harness our rap skills. Back in the day you could always find a freestyle flex-off session to showcase where you were from. "ATL represented," and much due respect but as you can tell "Northside in this bitch also!" Ya feel me!? We soon became very identifiable because we scoop out that different flava. (Bruster's who?) We weren't what you were used to hearing. We use to rap as a hobby in between sports to get away from the influences of the negative stuff that's all around ANY hood. So we strive to add something constructive to the hood not destructive. When you aint born into money or with a silver spoon in your gums, its easy to pick up a few bad habits if you are gullible. It was hard to go to school and see our sideway friends being fresh and clean with them new j's, beepers, and chains knowing that you want that to. Damn, "So what a nigga gone do," so we started a rap group called G.C.B. With our group "we were like any other group or organization starting out. "We set ourselves apart in many ways striving to do big things and get out in front of the pack," says Flame. We had alot of memebers in the beginning creating a buzz around school and the surrounding areas of gwinnett county by performing at house parties and other local engagements. Like most, "here today and gone tomorrow" gruops we dsiband shortly thereafter. "With different personalities and ego's to boot, shit was falling apart as fast as it was forming" recalls Lava. The beginning memebers of several became known today as Da Arsonist. Over the years we have made a name for ourselves by independently recording and producing our first album. I'm sure you probably got "The fya just started." If you do then we preciate your support. This album created our 1st major buzz granting us an opportunity to open for Atlanta's BME recording group Trillville. At the time Trillville was pushing their gold status album with their second smash hit "Some Cut." We toured the south east with Trillville warming up the stage for them night after night. It was a far cry from standing on the corner with book bags full of cds, selling over 2500 cds in a month. We started with a cheap mic from Guitar Center and music recording software programs called Reasons & Fruity Loops. It was a hustle and our hard work soon paid off. Our Influences include Three Six Mafia, Field Mob, T.I. all the way to Curtis Mayfield and Jay-Z. We hit the A running, winning numerous awards and cash prices at local talent contests and open mics. We've built a vast and loyal fan base. We are now striving to acquire milllions of fans this year. Over a six year span Da Arsonist haved blazed radio, toured the southeastern states, and are "do the damn thing" all by themselves will the help of fans and local supporters! Da Arsonist are currently excited about their upcoming new album. Watch out for the future album dropping soon entitled, "Global Warmin". Keep up with the latest on Da Arsonist activities at www.myspace.com/daarsonistus. With over 1 million plas thus far and counting, the buzz is growing like the hair in your ear,,,,,,,, Boom
