DABLACKDOTS STORY This duet was born from their meeting within In vivo, when they were joined together like a rhythm section to accompany the group at the time of the tour for the 1st album Eponyme (Sony November 2001) Sure of their complicities and musical affinities, after more than 30 dates in France and participation in Francofolies of Montreal, between December 2001 and November 2002, they decide to assemble their own band « dablackdots ». Olivman having decided to continue his musical adventure with the head of a power trio, he proposed to Vince to go on the road together. Both started to assemble a repertory as of March 2003, which lead to a rocking home demo of 14 titles, and a repertory of 35 titles, including 23 original compositions. At last they decided to remain band of 2, in order to try out the innumerable sound pallets of the post-nuclear guitars of exclusive manufacture TEAM LASER. These magic guitars with 3 strings (models and single manufacture entirely recomposed by TEAM) are the harmonic dablackdots color. The rhythmic color is orchestrated by powerful drums, and supported by various other percussions. The lyrics are signed Olivman, Team Laser or Scaly and definitively directed towards the human behaviors, crunched into situations sometimes humerous in the life with others on this planet !! Since the first album went on sale, the band tours in bar’s and festivals in France and Belgium permanently .They are now mixing their second album (recorded in Belgium) made of ten french and interational covers coming out fall 2008.
