Real, anointed, and heartfelt are the words that come to mind when one listens to the artistic flow of Kevin Megginson better known as “Da Fisherman”. Kevin grew up on the streets of Baltimore, the same streets that are his living testimony talked about in his lyrics. Kevin grew up on the streets of Baltimore, the same streets that are his living testimony talked about in his lyrics. After giving his life totally to Christ in 2001, Kevin vowed to spread the gospel to the same streets that almost claimed his life. He has ministered at almost all of the churches in the Baltimore/Washington area, the New Psalmist Baptist Church’s Kingdom Conference held at the Baltimore Convention Center, and several other gospel radio events. Because of Kevin’s faithfulness to his promise, God has taken him beyond the city limits. “Da Fisherman” is now making his way up and down the East Coast. He has performed at the Apollo Theatre, at the McDonald’s Gospel Fest 2003 & 2004, and has gained additional popularity in the southern states.
