Born Andre' De'wayne Crayton April 24th 1985, Dallas G has had a rough road to success. From growing up living several different family members to burying numerous family members at an early age his life has been molded and shaped by his trials and tribulations. His father was dishonorablly discharged from the Navy and began selling drugs. His father left their home after the completion of his 6th grade year. He was taken under wing by his uncles and was raised in he streets. After the death of his grandmother he decided to forgo his musical career and join the US NAVY. It was there he met a hungry and ambitious producer by the name of Kelvin Pouge(Pouge Boy Beats) who motivated and him and pushed him to pursue his dreams as a rapper. To pay for studio time and provide for him and his girlfriend at the time began to sell drugs while serving on board the USS. Harry S. Truman (operation Iraqi Freedom) and was charged with Distributing a controlled substance on board a US vessel and was sentenced to a year in the US brig.
