For so long I didn’t believe in myself or my abilities as a musician and if you don’t have faith in yourself, you sure as hell can’t expect anyone else too.” Daniel Bryant is a singer / songwriter from London, Ontario, Canada. He has described himself as a “closest musician” and laughs as he recounts his early days as songwriter: “For the longest time, people didn’t even know that I could sing or write songs! It was something that I kept to myself. No one could tell me my songs sucked if they didn’t hear them, right? So I would just keep writing and recording home demos.” Time and persistence would become Daniel’s allies. “The more I wrote the more confident I became. I could see a real growth in my lyrics and song structure and I finally got to the point where I was able to let people in to this secret world of mine.” Daniel is ready to invite us all into his “secret world” as he prepares for the release of his fifth album “Arrivals And Departures”. This Alternative/Modern Rock album marks Daniel’s first studio release. Produced and engineered by Jeff Gontovnick, “Arrivals…” is a collection of “in your face” rock songs, touching ballads and long Genesis-esque dramatic pieces. From the darkness of “Crazy Game”, a song about a jilted lover who attempts to lure his ex into a murderous trap, to the emotional “I’ll Call You”, a heart wrenching ballad Daniel wrote about a friend who’s life was taken in a tragic accident, Arrivals and Departures is a journey through metaphor and harmony, melody and mayhem.
