Daniel Kimbrell has always loved music, and singing. As a young man he picked up on playing the piano and became very skilled at such a young age; he was a rambunctious boy who would sing and entertain his friends and family with his favorite songs on the radio, mainly oldies and Motown bands, such as the Stylistics, Heat wave, as well as a slew of 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s sensations like: the Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, the Beach Boys, and New Kids on the Block.
Kimbrell, has a style and aspirations, most noticeably he exudes personality and his infusion is showcased in his vocal styles, and in his music overall. “I always knew I wanted to sing and dance, I’ve known it ever since I was little.” He says. Kimbrell is a self-starter. As an up-and-coming singer (and songwriter) he has performed in many different venues throughout the L.A. basin, and the inland empire such as local night clubs bars, and county fairs. His musical appeal stretches across many levels, and as he performs he commands the stage with his dancing; in ways many would call theatrical, to say the least. His performances are artistic, personal, and often sensational. No one stands still in the crowd. Everyone is involved, either dancing or singing they are endulged in Kimbrell's presents.
Born to be famous, this rising star brings a new edge to Pop music. Surely he is more than just a singer, he’s more like a force to be reckoned with, a tour de force on and off the stage. “You must follow your dreams wherever they may lead you. Don’t be distracted by the world around you. Follow your dreams, pursue them. Life is too short, you must never give up. As a young artist he has built a name for himself, and has brought his passion to fruition, releasing some of his earlier songs on his own, with the release of his first album in 2005, “Dethics” a collection of up-tempo songs, listeners quickly grasped and loved, his single “The Way you Love Me” is a mixture of country-pop and R/B. This track quickly caught the attention of young listener’s throughout the southland.
Stepping out once again into the limelight, his new album due out in fall of 2010 takes a different musical journey into the electro-industrial techno pop scene. Kimbrell is poised to get the crowd’s attention, and get them grooving on the dance floor. “My new songs are going to blow people away; they blend so much of who I am, of what I’ve gone through, and what is yet to come,” says Kimbrell. Focused, and in control, his vision for what is to come takes shape in his upcoming new album entitled “Digital Jungle ” There is a song for everyone on this record; the sound is amazing, and was recorded with a million-dollar mind.
Indeed, Daniel Kimbrell has a reason to celebrate. This new record should give him plenty of momentum toward the top of the music charts.
