Daniel “D-Rob” Robertson III is the present and future of Christian Hip-Hop and R&B. As a humble servant of God, he steps in confidence with his walk with the Lord, overcoming barriers set by the Devil. His passion-filled gifting and desire to reach the lost in unconventional ways only scratch the surface of his Kingdom impact. On New Year's Day 2009, D-Rob released “Mission Possible” his 12-track debut album co-produced with DJ Reese. The album cleverly integrates Hip-Hop, R&B and pop-style melodies that express hard hitting issues solved with the love of Christ. The album also features the smash single “Mission Possible” featuring Sir Walter Scott as well as the vocal talents of Deleyse Rowe of Bloodline Music Group. D-Rob was born and raised in Richmond, VA by his parents Bishop Daniel Robertson Jr. and Co-Pastor Elena Robertson, both pastors of Mt. Gilead Full Gospel Church. His stern yet loving upbringing influenced D-Rob to live for Christ at an early age. At the tender age of 4, he received his first drum set, which he played relentlessly until his cousin broke it. D-Rob decided to pick up the hobby again at age 11 when he received a second drum set. Bloodline Drummer, Ricky Bland, taught him how to play, and every since then, D-Rob has been persistent in advancing to the next level with his music. With other connections in the industry, such as Richmond's top mixer/engineer, Martinez Kelley, and his big brothers in music, Sir Walter Scott and Lamont Coward, D-Rob has been perfecting his craft due to their effort and support. Crafting lyrics, creating beats, and emceeing for the Kingdom are elements that reflect D-Rob's undeniable skill. In early 2008, D-Rob launched UppaCut Music and D-Rob has been a trusted name in production among artists of the faith, such as Ricky Miles, Mr. Sekou, Sir Walter Scott, and Reazn of Nfluential Music. As D-Rob continues to spread the love of Christ with his music, God is truly working in his life and it is evident in his latest project.
