Biography

Danny Langdon says that writing songs is as simple as following the melodies in his head. He just picks up a guitar, touches the strings, and the music gives his thoughts a place to belong. Danny Langdon says that writing songs is as simple as following the melodies in his head. He just picks up a guitar, touches the strings, and the music gives his thoughts a place to belong. The truth is, there is nothing simple about Danny Langdon. The dynamic of his life is extreme, intense and full of experiences that have caused him to think, reflect, and pursue answers through music. As a teenager, Danny joined a garage band called The Prowlers, touring the clubs of New York, even making their way to some of L.A.’s best nightspots. The Prowlers gained quite a following in New York. Its lineup was a talented group of New Yorkers who went on to distinguishing careers. Throughout the years Danny has experienced and accomplished a lot within the music field. Danny has played and toured with many musicians throughout the country. Danny has been playing the San Diego area for over a year now as well as performing shows in New York. Danny has received coverage from San Diego’s own K.U.S.I. News as well as San Diego’s radio station K.P.R.I.‘s homegrown show. Danny currently performs with San Diego’s own “The Brokers Band” (formerly The Blues Brokers) in and around the San Diego area. When not performing with the “Brokers Band”, Danny is busy promoting his debut c.d. “Hard Lessons”. “Hard Lessons” is a rocking effort from a great new singer/songwriter. Dealing with such topics as peer pressure (“Don’t You Give In”), divorce (“I Need To Know”), abuse (“Hard Lessons”) and death (“Just A Dream”), you are brought to a place of triumph through surrender with songs like “Save Me”, “Found The Love”, Give It All” and a great remake of “Free Ride”. It speaks to people right where they live and offers them a positive alternative to the “alternative” music they are influenced by. Either way, you know that Danny Langdon has reached down deep into his soul and is ready to deal honestly and openly with the good and bad of life, the faith that drives him forward, and the music that is simply one of Danny’s greatest gifts. www.dannylangdon.com
